LakoTermin for Android: Our Mobile Booking App Is in Development
October 22, 2026

You have a few minutes between appointments. You need to check your next booking, find an available time for tomorrow or look up a client’s contact details. Your computer is not always nearby. Your phone usually is.
That is why we have started developing the LakoTermin mobile app for Android. It is the next step for our online booking service, built for professionals and businesses that work by appointment.
The app is still in development. Here is why we are building it, why Android comes first and what we believe matters in a mobile tool used throughout the working day.
Appointment management happens away from your desk too
Your working day might take place in a consulting room, studio, classroom, workshop or at a client’s location. Wherever you work, similar questions come up: who is arriving next, how long will the appointment take, when is the next available slot and how can you contact the client?
If you work independently, you handle those questions between providing services. If you manage a team, you also need to keep track of several schedules and changes during the day.
A phone helps you stay informed. But it is only convenient when important details are easy to read and the next action is easy to find.
These everyday situations are the starting point for the LakoTermin Android app.
Why build a mobile appointment booking app?
You can already open LakoTermin in a browser on your phone. This gives you access to the service when you are away from your computer.
With a dedicated app, we want to make regular use of LakoTermin more convenient on a mobile device. For a tool you use every day, the route to a screen, the clarity of information and the position of controls all matter.
As we develop the mobile app, we ask practical questions:
- Can you quickly understand the schedule?
- Are the appointment time, service and client details easy to read?
- Is the next action clear?
- Can you use the screen comfortably during a short break between appointments?
These questions help us assess the interface from the perspective of someone who needs to get on with their working day.
Different services need different scheduling workflows
A tutor may teach the same student every week. A consultant’s meetings may vary in length. Several professionals in a studio may share one room or piece of equipment. A mobile service provider may spend part of the day travelling between locations.
Appointment scheduling software needs to account for these different ways of working. Services, appointment lengths and working hours are not the same for every business.
That matters on mobile too. We are considering the day-to-day needs of independent professionals and teams so that interface decisions make sense across different fields.
The final feature list for the first release has not yet been announced. We will share details about features as they become ready.
Why small interface details matter
Every appointment represents an agreement between people. A misread time or an accidental change can affect both the professional and the client.
That makes mobile interface design particularly important. Buttons need to be easy to use, labels understandable and different states recognisable. Actions that could disrupt someone’s plans need appropriate confirmation.
When managing bookings on your phone, it also helps to check the selected date, professional and service duration before confirming a change. This is particularly useful when rescheduling an appointment or adjusting a familiar routine.
A useful tool should help you notice important details and make decisions confidently. That principle guides our development work.
Why Android comes first
At this stage, we are developing the app for Android only. Focusing on one platform lets us concentrate on the interface, app behaviour and the workflows we need to check.
Android phones vary in screen size, hardware and operating system version. Those differences need attention even when building for a single platform.
We have not announced a release timeline for an iPhone version. Our current development work is focused on Android.
What we can share about the app today
Development is underway, but the app has not been released. We will announce the launch date and the final feature list for the first version separately.
For a tool used at work, preparing individual features is only part of the process. We also need to check how they work together in everyday situations. We will share updates on the LakoTermin blog as the app progresses.
In the meantime, you can continue using the web version. If you are new to LakoTermin, you can start setting up online booking in your browser today.
What do you most often need to do on your phone?
An independent professional, an administrator and a team manager may need different information during the day. Real examples help us understand those differences.
We would like to hear which tasks you usually handle on your phone, which ones you postpone until you reach a computer and where you spend unnecessary time.
For example: “After a lesson, I need to check availability for the next session,” or “During the day, I check changes across several team members’ schedules.”
If you would like to share an example, get in touch through LakoTermin’s contact channels. Describing one real task helps us understand what needs to feel straightforward in the app.
Follow the development of LakoTermin for Android
We are building the mobile app around the everyday work of people who see clients by appointment. Our aim is to make checking and working with a schedule on your phone convenient throughout the day.
We will announce the first release and installation details separately. Until then, you can explore LakoTermin, add your services and set up your schedule.
